"Very good"

Offer someone to transport our bags instead of giving us the option to drag over the dirt road over the bridge and to our room or drive the extremely bad dirt road (10 min drive) to our room. We didn't even know at booking about this. Everything else was fine, but the bad start at check-in is the last thing I want.

"Cool lodge set up for supporting adventure activities"

Really cool lodge about 30 mins from West Glacier Nat. Park and 90 min from East. We unfortunately only stayed one night so didn't get to see the whole property, but did enjoy a walk and watching a train come through under the bridge. The room was comfortable and had a small drying rack (and other things you might make use of if staying for longer - hammocks, picnic rug etc). The staff were lovely and friendly!

There were no smores available the night we were there, which is a pity as there is an additional $25 compulsory charge for all of the extras they provide.

"Unique stay drenched in history with a modern twist"

Unique stay up in the mountains with lots of history. Completely updated and unique with front view of the railroad tracks and trains passing through town that have been in use for many many years. We loved it, but if you don't like the sound of passing trains this is not the place for you.

"Enjoyable, and adventure and lovely main building."

Nice adventure living in a caboose. Main lodge was excellent. Caboose #3 loft was extremely hard to get in and out of. We arrived on a snowy day and barely made it to our caboose as the path was nit plowed. I asked for a shovel, which was given, and I spent an hour the next morning shoveling a path to insure path did not freeze and I would get out.

"Would only stay here again if location and proximity to the park were important."

Location was good. It was clean.

Restaurant was just ok. Only had burgers and salads contrary to info on website. Room was a little cold and radiator was noisy.

Always a great place. The ski trails are in excellent condition.

They changed the authenticity of the place with the remodel. The pictures of Glacier are a circle. So strange.
