Convenient location; clean room, albeit very small.

Insufficient sound proofing. The noise from the corridor/other rooms at night (until early morning hours) was very disturbing and as a result we had very little sleep; no staff were available to assist to keep the noise down.

Place had character, clean, comfortable

Live train tracks right behind building,

Good was great l, school house room was modern, had a tv and was clean

If you like trains and nature, this is an easy choice! You're right in an active rail yard on the BNSF main. A historic hotel, good food, beautiful country and great people. I forgot my phone and they were gracious enough to run it out to the Empire Builder when we came through Essex! Thank you Avery and Gumby!

Dinner seating ends a bit early, but that may be because we were there too early in the season.
