Most important of all, the Host is exceptionally attentive to any issues, and called me aftr my first night to make sure everything was ok. When I did have an issue with the TV it was resolved immediately (on a Saturday evening!). The accommodation once inside the apartment is very well laid out, comfortable and well equipped. The decor is bight and cheerful, the bed is reasonably comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, there's a giant TV screen, a small sofa to relax on, a table to eat or work at. Plenty of plug sockets to charge electronic devices. The bathroom (no window) feels a little bit industrial, but is clean and functional. Between the big window and a number of lighting options (most overhead) I could always find a happy lighing situation. All in all, comfortable, clean, functional and perfectly suited to a longer stay (5 days). Exceptionally attentive Hosts. (Call out to Magic 'D' who fixed my TV remotely). The location is literally 500 yards from an Asda store, so very handy for shopping. Also you are just a 10 minute walk from the fabulous Norfolk Park.

The street itself is a bit scruffy and run-down, with a lot of overspilling bins, 'For Rent' signs hanging off houses etc. It's not clear who the other residents are in Priestley House (private owners, rentals, rent guaranteed). On arrival I was confronted by three young lads in hoodies who seemed overly curious about who I was and what I was doing. Not ideal when you are clearly a reasonably well-off stranger with luggage, trying to figure out the key safety box. They did have a key fob for access to the building, but followed me in and so knew which flat I was in. Unsettling. As it happens, all perfectly innocent and innocuous, and the lads were actually quite polite, but you never know. All the other residents I met were polite and friendly. The biggest negative for me is that the flat is on the ground floor, with a window that opens onto the street. I like to sleep with a window open which was not possible here for security reasons. I think that the management could and should look into fitting some form of security device onto the windows to allow safe airflow. Slightly better low-level lighting for the kitchen would be my only other suggestion.

Good location with shops near by, easy reach of town centre, clean warm.

No oven

The property was nice inside etc the bed wasn’t in the right place as you could only see half the tv I get that it was a studio but still could only see half the tv.

I had booked this for 2 night but only ended up staying 1 night didn’t get a refund back people partying upstairs loud music taking nos balloon canisters banging coming from upstairs all day like non stop banging I don’t know if people was moving furniture about or what but surely doesn’t take 5 hours as the banging was carrying on from upstairs.
