Lovely people that looked after us during our stay. Breakfast and dinner was very good and they were able to arrange activities for us.

Everything was perfect

Nous avons loué 3 chambres propres et calmes pour un rapport qualité prix imbattable. Nous avons mangé sur un balcon surplombant la rivière. Ils nous ont organisé une sortie canyoning et rafting super sympa. Belle enceinte dans le salon pour mettre sa musique . Très bon souvenir !

Jony (the host) welcomed us with fresh watermelon juice and nice smile. Room was tidy. There was a river flowing just beside the hotel and we took bath in it since it was safe. Crystal clear water and lottss of fishes amused us. Kithulgala is a place for adventures but we chose to enjoy differently. So took a walk through the village. Enjoyed tea sitting beside kelani river. There was a big TV (with subscription of prime, netflix) in the shared living room. We enjoyed watching movie there. The most pleased thing was the food, it was soo delicious that we chose eat in the hotel during our stay. Also the water in the freeze was completely free! It not just saved our money and hassle, it showed their generosity.

Almost nothing. Bathroom got wet while taking shower but it became dry within few minutes! So no issue for us.

We had a very lovely stay. The view is wonderful, very serene and peaceful. I found myself sitting in one of the chairs overlooking the river a lot. What I loved about the place was the luxury of high water pressure in the shower! The place was clean, however keep in mind that you’re in the jungle so you’ll find some ants in your room. The breakfast is basic but okay. Think of an egg, hoppers, coconut pancake and a juice. One day we had a coconut roti and some mushrooms which were very delicious. We booked the rafting through the place and it was a very fun experience despite the dry season. (The river isn’t as high in water) If you’d like to have a relaxing, peaceful and chill place to stay with an amazing view over the river, then this is your place.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

There was a moment we found some ants in the bed but when we asked to switch rooms they instantly said of course, no problem! The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable, spacious room with nice amenities. Nice balcony view overlooking the river and some jungle. The food was very nice. The staff were helpful.

Would be good to know if they can't serve dinner ahead of time, but otherwise, all good.
