Old Bridge Riverside Hotel

On the plus side, the rooms were a good size, reasonably clean and the communal area had seating, fridge, TV and Bluetooth speaker that lead onto a large covered balcony which overlooked the river which was a peaceful and beautiful setting The breakfast was not only warm, but varied and tasty

We stayed on vacation in a party of 6 adults for one night after rafting. I booked 3 deluxe double bedrooms with en suite and balcony. On arrival only 2 of the 3 bedrooms had air con and balconies. The unit was still to be fitted in a box in the communal area and there was no evidence that there had ever been a unit in our bedroom. This was pointed out to the manager who just shrugged. We went for a shower, the water pressure constantly chugged and there was no hot or even warm water Next, problem was the evening meal. The hotel details says there is no restaurant so we expected to eat out. There was heavy rain and the same manager brought out to us a menu and said we could order from it and it would be delivered to us. As there was a table on the balcony and it was pouring outside we decided to order from the menu, fully expecting our meal to be a takeaway service from a local restaurant as some had ordered curries and sides, prawns, omelette, chips so quite a variety We were told it would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours to be delivered. However it took about 2 hours 20 minutes and it was getting late and we were all hungry. When the meals finally arrived, every single dish was cold. When we called to the manager he shrugged and in his very limited English excused the meal being cold because his sister was on her own in their kitchen and had cooked all the meals. We were extremely surprised. We asked ghe dishes be warned up by oven or microwave but again he offered no solution. We were ravenous by now so ate what we could. 2 of the curries were poor cuts of meat and very tough so hardly touched We had to call our driver who has a better command of English to translate our complaints but all we received were excuses and no apology This hotel is offering food at restaurant (cheaper end) prices. It is under the radar as on the hotel's Booking.com listing it says there is no restaurant. The food is priced in a menu.

This stay was a real treat, we loved it. The location was perfect for us and the accommodation is set in beautiful lush surroundings right on the river. The rooms were spacious and common areas very well done. Relaxing on the balcony with the river was just wonderful. Highly recommend this place, the food was so amazing we ate every meal here, they arranged our outings for us, we had so much fun white water rafting, canyoning and abseiling waterfalls and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Swimming in the river was better than any pool.

The view was exceptional. The property was clean and the fridge in the lounge well stocked. We weee able to what’s app the owner and request the type of drinks we wanted. The rafting and canyoning were amazing. All organised and tuk tuk to pick us up at the time we wanted. Flexible- we originally booked for 9.30 but they were happy to make it 11.30 so we could relax in the morning after a long flight the day before. The staff were so helpful. The breakfast is plentiful. After the first breakfast we were asked if we wanted anything in particular the next day. We just had the same but you could easily request more or less of certain foods. We had lunch in a restaurant after the rafting but otherwise ate on the hotel. Was perfect for us and 2 adult children who had their own room and bathroom. I would highly recommend this hotel. The balcony was gorgeous.

Beautiful rooms with balcony overlooking a stream. Beautiful view of lush plants and lots of varieties of birds. Rooms were nice and clean, balcony is nice for relaxing. Food is pretty good. Organized activities for us. Answered my questions beforehand about organizing them. Overall helpful.

The shower water was hot but the breaker went out a few times, which caused it to turn cold. Otherwise all good.

The apartament was big and very clean. Perfectly situated with amazing terrace Good contact via WhatsApp. A bit poor English onsite. They organized the canyoning for us - fantastic experience, but too short.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast and food was delicious and the family/ hosts were absolutely amazing 🫶🏼🙏, they were lovely and very helpful 🙏🫶🏼.
