Old Bridge Riverside Hotel

Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was really good. Fridge with drinks is good idea.

it's a bit humid in the room, maybe you should think about an air conditioner with a dehumidifying function.

Friendly helpful staff. Amazing breakfasts and dinner. Lovely river to swim in. Arranged fantastic rafting nearby. Highly recommend.

Good basic affordable accommodation. Staff really approachable and happy to help. Dinner was delicious and breakfast the same and very generous. The hidden extra here is the pool in the river just below the hotel which is clean for swimming a lovely surprise.

Not sure how the drivers accommodation rates but breakfast for driver was good.

A new hotel, runned by a family who is very helpfull. Rooms are good and there is a shared balcony with splendid views, You can walk freely around Bibili Oya, the river next to the hotel . Food is at average level.

Access to the hotel is confusing, via some private properties

Really lovely setting and very helpful/friendly owner. They organised rafting for us which was brilliant and reasonably priced. They also lent us rubber rings as there is a little natural pool in the river right by them - gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful and great value. Would recommend.

Local a bit out of the way

A really nice place by the river where you can have a cool dip. The host Roshan and Kolitha was very helpful and helped us with the rafting booking. Must mention the breakfast here is one of the best we had at a small hotel! It was roti and hoppers (including 2 egg hoppers) with a super Lunu miris, for the savory and spicy option. And butter, cheese, jam and the best kithul honey for the sweet option! we smashed it all :) Highly recommend this place for your stay in Kitulgala!

Fantastic location with a river you can swim in next to it. Great spot for doing lots of adventure activities such as white water rafting, canyoning etc. The host was very helpful in organising activities and transport and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. Very clean and well looked after property!
