The Guest House is only a bus ride from the centre of Edinburgh.

There were no staff on the premises at all, which isn't ideal. The shower room is on the small side, and both the shower and separate toilet need upgraded. A breakfast area would make a difference. The room was comfortable, but to see a staff only notice written on the door of a cupboard needs a total rethink. This is not a hostel and shouldn't lean towards giving that impression. The price was perhaps a little high but in keeping with the cost of an overnight stay in Edinburgh when I was there.
