No soap provided Bikes and laundry are slightly more expensive than most other places but excellent standard Not a complaint as it was my own fault but don’t have food left in room. It is a wooden bungalow beside the water with many cracks and holes and you will be guaranteed the food will be found by creatures and eaten!

The place has a nice river view and hammock so you can relax. Ladies are very helpful. 10min walk from the city center. Rooms are basic and I think the price of the room is a bit too high comparing to other places on the street with same quality. You can rent bicycles and book buses.

Only cold water (but it's a standard :)). I know it's not their fault, but other places across the river played the music veeery loud since 9am everyday. Maybe we just weren't lucky.

Stayed for 3 nights here, and it was a comfy riverside stay. The bungalows have everything you need, along with two hammocks outside on the terrace. The beds are comfy enough and the linen was clean and fresh when we arrived. It’s super hot in Don Det during the day so the room gets very hot, but at night the fan is enough for a comfortable sleep. The staff are nice, the laundry is very quick and we had zero issues during our stay. It’s on the sunrise side of the island so it’s quieter, which is great because at night the other side is quite loud with the parties. You’re still walking distance to everything you need, and the road on this side is already completed with tarmac. It’s on an island so there are a lot of bugs around at night, but this wasn’t an issue for us as there was a mosquito net over the bed too. Some geckos, but that’s totally normal. Wi-Fi also worked very well.

The location was great, very close to the port and the center of Don Det. In front of our room there were 2 hamocks we enjoyed a lot, and the staff was very nice.

The mattress was old and thin, and the mosquito net was too small for the bed, so we slept with it on our faces. The towels had stains, and the bedsheets had a funny smell. And because this is an island, you can expect insects and geckos outside and inside of the room, but there's little we humans can do about that. :)

This is a wooden bungalow in an amazing position right on the river. The bungalow itself is clean and the bedding was good. The fan works, the bathroom is very basic with a cold water shower but it all worked and was clean. The views are incredible as was the sunrise. The lady who runs things here was super friendly and helpful. She rents out really good bicycles.

The mattress was old and a bit saggy in the middle. There was no space to put anything. The hammocks outside were broken.

Miss Lao was the kindest and funniest property manager. Pretty view of the river, and close to the heart of town, but just far enough away to be a bit quiet too.

No cafe or place to get drinks. But no big deal, things close by.

The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The staff member was so friendly. She greeted me right away, showed me the room, and let me keep my bag there while I waited for a boat to Don Som. She also gave me a bracelet when I left for good luck and was always smiling. It is in a quiet area with fewer guesthouses and restaurants which was perfect for me. It's only a ten minute walk to the northern tip of Don Det where most restaurants, bars, tourism booths, and accomodations are. The sunrise was beautiful.

If you want to be closer than a 10 min walk to the main touristy spot, this may not be the place for you. You could feel when some folks walked around the bungalows if they were heavy footed, but generally not an issue.

Great location and staff !!! Possibility to rent bikes and buy bustickets and tours. I highly recommend this place
