USWe stayed at Bukpa Homestay during our visit to Pangong lake (Early May). Dorje and his family have a beautiful house and they are the warmest people you could meet in the chilling cold of Pangong. With their beautiful home decor, amazing view of the lake and the mountains, home cooked food, bukharas in the room to keep you warm and heartfelt conversations, you wouldn't want to leave this place.
INWe stayed at Bukpa Homestay in maan village. the owner Dorjay was extremely helpful and friendly. he provided us with hotwater as and when required. the breakfast of Poha was unexpectedly delicious considering the limited availability of foodstuff. the stay was very comfortable. dinner was the local cuisine of Chutai with paneer which was awesome.
Bathrooms should have little more facilities like rood to hang towels etc.
VNThe hospitality of the family makes us feel so welcomed. The common area is really cozy and homy. The view from the house is really amazing. Such an unique stay in Pangong lake. It’s away from the touristy/compact areas and that what i love most about this place. It’s also special to live with local and witness their day-to-day lifestyle.

INGiven the remoteness of the area, the stay was exceptional. The family is really sweet and humble. The view of Pangong Lake from the room was beautiful. The village we were staying at is Maan where you will find a lot of tents and cottages near Pangong Lake but the traditional touch of staying with a local family is incomparable. We requested our hosts if they can serve us traditional food which they happily did, and we enjoyed the beautiful lores of Ladakh over dinner. For fellow travelers - The stay is a basic homestay yet comfortable given the remoteness and availability of resources. The family is really understanding and if you need anything just convey it to them. They will help you.
