Just a suggestion, the room with the lake view is close to the stairs and hence privacy of the room is compromised a little. The owner can consider covering the lower panel of the windows with frosted film to address the issue

Amazing location, situated on a hill but not long of a walk down to the coast of the lake. Every room has a private bathroom and a gets a generous amount of hot water. Hosts are very kind.

We had a wonderful stay at the homestay! Felt very welcome and especially the common room where we had our dinner and breakfast is just so nice and beautiful. You can enjoy the view of PangongLake from there :) And you have an amazing view from one of the bedrooms on Pangong Lake. The house and rooms are nicely made and clean. We would come back for sure!

Our room was well sized, clean and faced the Pangong lake. The homestay was quite lovely and the family was very sweet and welcoming. The food was proper home style food which was great and they made sure to keep it ready well on time whenever requested. The bathroom itself is not attached to the room and is just down the hall however this is something that they had made very clear in the booking.com listing as well as it was something that they called and clarified to us to make sure that we were aware. We personally did not have any issues with it. It was still a personal bathroom just for us and although it was ofcourse basic, it was very clean and well kept. The location was great. It was about a 7 min walk to the lake. The homestay was located on the road and basically had to walk down to reach the lake. We were happier with this as the places that were right down the lake were quite a few and looked crowded vs this which was still in proximity to the lake but was private and secluded.

The hotels and homestays at Pangong lake are spread across a few villages and this homestay is located in Man Village which is slightly further down the lake and adds about 20-30 more mins to the journey. There are a few villages such as Spangmik that are slightly quicker to reach vs this. We personally did not have any issue with it but its something that people might want to know whilst comparing stays before booking.

My friends and I are really grateful for the immense hospitality shown by the hosts, even though we had to leave early due to a medical emergency. The hosts did their best to help us in that situation. After a long trip, the evening snacks and tea were a lifesaver, and the 'chutagi' (local dish) for dinner was a culinary delight. The rooms were warm and cosy, and the facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay. We would love to revisit the homestay when we return to Pangong.

We were lucky to stay at the Bukpa Homestay. The house is overlooking the lake. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom is essential but perfectly functional. The living room is in the traditional Ladakhi style. The family running the homestay (brother and two sisters) is so nice that we regretted staying only for one night. We absolutely recommend this place.

We were a bit unlucky with the whether. It rained a lot overnight and there was a small leak in our bedroom. We informed the hosts about it.
