The girl of volunteering was very helpful though there was lacking of shared information between the owner and volunteering people.

On booking, says check-in is from 10am, but we needed to wait until 2pm. also says check-out is until 2 pm, but we were kicked out until 12 pm. The room is just separated by two curtains , actually it was not room, It's better to say It was a 'space'. Almost every detail about this house was false, i really recommend the owner to fix them immediately.

Special place - felt like being welcomed into a home. Great place to meet others or keep your privacy, spotless bedroom, attentive host who makes you coffee in the mornings and helps with anything you need. Location is good between the historic centre and more bohemian area.

My review is a bit mixed. The room was very reasonably priced, and included "breakfast" (Toast coffee, cereal...I provided my own eggs, which worked well for me). The location was excellent, close, but not too close to the center, with food, coffee shops and markets close by. The place was very clean (I think because of the "volunteer" who seemed to be working her tail off).

The previous reviews indicated the owner was in-house. This wasnt the case for my stay - so the information that could have been provided by the owner was lacking. Instead, there was a workaway volunteer (very competent and helpful, but not her city). Also, a major problem was that the water in the shower was almost a dribble, and usually not hot. Some problem with the water system (both in temperature, which was provided by solar) and the pressure. The last day the owner returned home and lit the boiler and allowed me to use his personal shower (which has water pressure). Also, I am not really clear on the type of facility this is...an Airbnb, a room with breakfast, a hostal (where you can utilize the kitchen) or a couchsurfing location...all of which I think I experienced during my few days in the facility. I think it would be helpful if the owner would clarify this. It was strange as a paying guest with a private room and breakfast included to have to be very quiet during breakfast due to the (very nice) couchsurfing couple sleeping in the breakfast area.

Lively host. Helpful too . Even picks his guests up so they won't get lost in the maze of Guanajuato...

Barrio dogs rate 3/5 for nuisance value.Noisy but docile.

the house was super good, and the landlord was super polite, always ready to help you and give all the tips that you need for visit the city… i really raccomand this house this house!!! Thanks again for the amazing experience !!!
