Great location, awesome host, great price.

The place was a little smelly

Although it is close to Centro, the area around the inn was very quiet and comfortable. Also, the owner is very kind and will give you recommendations and transportation methods.

Kitchen and bathroom could really do with a clean. Location is all good but it is a little far, but we knew that.

The price for staying in Guanajuato is really cheap, the host was nice and gave us some tips about the town and events which take place. Also their is free drinking water and the location is good for reaching the centre.

What really should be mentioned, which is not shown at all on the pictures or in the description on booking is that there are, at least during our stay, constantly people sleeping in the kitchen area. Also in our room there was a hole in the wall which was only covered by thin curtains. So you could hear everything which was going on in the open kitchen area. The wildest thing for us in general was that there was somebody sleeping on the couch in the kitchen. Therefore the whole area was covered by curtains (see pictures), so you were not able to use the table in the evening/night time starting at 5.30 pm or in the morning for breakfast at 8.30 am which was super wild. Also in our second night they started to blow up a air mattress in the middle of the night, which was super noisy and loud. So in total you were not really able to make a larger breakfast and talk to each other without waking the other people up. Nothing like that was mentioned on this booking site and shown in the pictures. Also the whole place was kind of messy. I am not really sure what a place this is, something between AirBnB and Couchsurfing, but it was the most „interesting“ experience during our three month Mexico stay.

Sergio is super welcoming and make you feel like at home. You can use everything in the House which has everything you need for cooking or whatever you need. Moreover its one of the cheapest option in Town and is really worth it. Great location, 5’ from city center but in a residencial area. We slept on the couch which is in the living room, where another person is also sleeping. Nevertheless we knew that and there are some curtains that separate you from the rest of the room pretty well.

Maybe just a little cleaner in the kitchen and the bathroom had be great.
