Lakeside Cottage by Clover

It's such a beautiful place. You truly feel the vibe of the environment and the atmosphere with the lush lawn, the flowers, the trees and the small lake right in front of the property. Caretakers of the place were friendly, helped us with extra comforters, lent us tea, and taught how to set up the BBQ (BBQ is chargeable, but worth it). Beds were huge, rooms had hot water, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The view from the room is equally beautiful in the daytime and at night. Close to both Nuwaraeliya city and Hakgala Botanical Gardens. We celebrated our cousin's b'day here, and the whole experience was delightful. Would definitely recommend staying at Lakeside Cottage. The only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend there. Bonus tip: go up to the rooftop area after midnight for a magical stargazing experience!!! The visibility is AMAZING. We saw the entire Milky Way from up there.

Friendly host and we love the food. The view was great and it was a calm and quite place. You can go fishing in the lake right in front of the bungalow. Overall we loved our stay here. highly recommended.

Good location, a comfortable stay, very helpful hosts and value for money. It's a two bedroom cottage with a nice living area, attached bathrooms with hot water, carpet floor and a fully equipped kitchen which you can cook on your own.
