Very scenic place. It's very close to Channory Point which is a perfect spot for observing sunrise and dolphins (even ospreys, seals and etc.) The accommodation contains everything we need and Kenneth the host was very helpful and communicative. Will certainly recommend!

"A comfortable cottage with spectacular views."

9.0

An attractive little cottage perched over looking the Moray Firth. I managed to spot dolphins, a whale, and a whole host of bird life. Comfortable bed, kitchen with all the essentials, living room with sea views.

It was fine for me, but access is along a dirt track, not a tarmacked road, which people might find a little difficult in wetter weather.

"Property with stunning views"

10.0

Excellent property with great views overlooking the North Sea on the left and Murray Firth on the right and in a very quiet location. Ideal for a relaxing holiday. The property is 1mile from a beach with a beautiful trail path to get to it. Also very close Fairy glen waterfalls and Rosemarkie beach with a nice cafe at the beachfront. We will definitely return to this place once again.

The locks in the bathroom was broken and it was awkward with 2 families staying.

"spectacular view"

Brilliant views, you need to be there to see them !! wonderful local walks, but be warned the beach walk needs lungs to get you back up, but worthwhile the gasp for air

The bed for us was FIRM but that is our preference we are softies! . I challenge anyone to get off the osprey sofas from a sit to stand without hands but we are oldies 😀

"a peaceful retreat with beautiful views!"

10.0

The cottage is so cosy and the views are absolutely stunning. It’s like a little peace of heaven! Close to the little village of Rosemarkie. I recommend the cliff beach walk and Fairy Glen. Also a great base for heading to Chanonry point for Dolphin watching. We managed to spot them twice during our stay.

"Very good"

8.0

Constant very hot water. Fully equipped kitchen enough to fix roast dinner on NY day. Large, pleasantly decorated bedrooms with very comfy beds. Woven blankets on the top if needed, which we didn't! Effecient heating. Hosts good care of icy/snowy conditions around cottage access roads and it WAS icy! Amazing location. Easy reach of Inverness, but off the beaten track as we wanted.Night skies brilliant with there being no light pollution. TV, not that we watched it much, simple to use with DVD player.

Nothing that put us off going again or highly recommending it to others. However I hadn't picked up from the information the shower was over the bath. This was an issue for us, as one of our party has light mobility issues and epilepsy so couldn't get into the bath to shower. For 3 nights it didn't really matter but making it clearer in the description would have helped me. Likewise, the stairs were tricky to negotiate, especially in the dark, so bearing in mind the bathroom is on the ground floor a night light of sorts might be safer.
