Surigao Dream Beach Resort

It is quite far away from Surigao, but it is an excellent place to spend several relaxed days. Alex and his team took perfectly care of me. He even gave me a lift to the airport because my flight was very early. The bungalows are pretty with a nice view to the sunset. The restaurant is good and the prices are really fair. Unfortunately I could not use the nice infinity pool due to an injury. Starklink WiFi is available. So the best you can get in most parts of the Philippines.

Absolutely everything about it was appealing…Very quiet and peaceful…Relaxing…Alex and his staff were wonderful…Breakfast every morning was delicious and their lunch and dinner menu was also very delightful, tasty food…the pool was refreshing and the view of the ocean was lovely…there’s a little stray cat, that we took care of during our stay there, we named her Maya…She was unbelievably friendly and affectionate towards us and she claimed us as her own…it was a beautiful time there at the Surigao Dream Beach Resort and I would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a peaceful and relaxing time in a beautiful place

It was a tropical oasis with an amazing view.

The steps from the cabin were covered in algae and really slippery, but the owner Alex addressed the issue immediately after being notified. He was also an excellent host!

The owner and staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful which really made up for the slightly run down hotel. The location is beautiful even though it's miles from anywhere. Definitely try out the 1 local bbq restaurant that is about 100m away but dontt expect luxuries in this area.

The hotel needs a lot of TLC, to be fair its great for backpacking but their was a lack of cleanliness to the room and bathroom which made sleeping a little un comfy.

The accommodation is very well. Nice swimming pool and (because the owner is from Finland) there is a sauna. It's free to be used. The food in the restaurant is nice and for a good price. And....if you wish you can have your beer in a frozen glass!

Beautiful spot to relax. The villas are amazing and each have air conditioning. Although there aren't many corals left after the typhoon, the fish are still among the rocks for you to see while you snorkel in front of the resort. The food is wonderful as well. The pool and sauna are a great bonus and well maintained. The excursions Alex set up are great. We were able to swim with a whale shark in the wild and I highly recommend the Day-Asan tour. Great spot to see and also probably one of the best coral reefs I've snorkeled in the Philippines. And I've done many (including apo island).

The location is amazing right by the water with amazing views and sunsets. The food was nice also with plenty of options. The owner Alex was really friendly and helpful. Made us some lovely finish coffee and couldn’t do enough for you. Very clean.

Nothing! The room/bathroom is reflected in the price I think it’s a fair price for the standard.

We appreciated the attentive staff so much! There was a band on Sunday, also allowing the locals to join and blend in. It was a great mix and good atmosphere, even when raining. We enjoyed it a lot, and were sad we only stayed for 2 nights. Thanks everyone! 🙏
