"A peaceful stay in a nice house!"

8.0

The location was beautiful and very peaceful! Communication with the host, Jonathan, was great. They were very attentive and responded quickly to any queries. It was easy to park and collect/return the keys.

There was some mould in the property and a hole/dip in one bedroom floor. There was not much coffee available for the amount of guests! There was no food waste bin.

"Lovely location, perfect for what we needed."

8.0

Lovely location, plenty of car parking, and the kitchen was well stocked up with utensils for cooking etc. It was cold when we arrived but the heating quickly got going and it was cosy.

The bed in one of the rooms upstairs was directly infront of the door so it didn't close which was a bit odd. There was a general damp feeling upstairs and it just had a bit of a shabby feeling... especially when mid-shower the head fell in half and clocked me on the head. They should get the log burner fixed as that would improve the vibe of the downstairs room, but it did have a lovely living space and nice that it was a bit away from the rooms.

"Passable"

5.0

Beautiful cottage lovely location and great food at the lovmcal pub .

The log burner was mot working, and with temperature at -7, my heavily pregnant daughter and toddler went home as the temperature should be 18 degrees and above for a child. We had to purchase fleece blankets to keep warm and appreciated the extra heaters but it still was cold and would have preferred you to cancel or move us as it was not warm enough to live in at this time if Year, the central heating provided back ground heat at best ,all in all this dissapointed us and spoilt our stay. The toilet was not clean and have photos of this and the temp to back me up .

Comfortable, well equipped cottage. Lovely location in the centre of the village with good pub 5min walk away.

When the temp fell to -2, it felt a bit cold! When we moved the settee there were plenty of dog hairs. Not everyone loves dogs.

"Very poor cleanliness."

2.0

View from garden.

The cleanliness was awful. Crumbs from previous occupant left on the floor, encouraging flies. Black mould present throughout the cottage. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Extension leads were "daisy chained" creating a fire hazard. Left the property one night early due to the above.
