The Pastures Holiday Lodge

Lovely and warm, clean, quiet location. Handy having 2 toilets, albeit one very snug! Nice to see an array of recent books and games. Nice messages ahead of arrival with all of the information needed for the stay. We were excited to stay after seeing what was on offer. The walk to the main facilities was a 15 minute walk which we enjoyed, taking in the lakes and wildlife along the way. Spare bedding and blankets for the sofa bed were appreciated. The outside decks would be great for summer weather.

Not having been to the site before, we didn't realise how large it is and had difficulties locating The Pastures. Instructions given on the gate were confusing. We dropped into Guest services and were provided with a map which helped. It would have helped if this was offered at the gate to first timers. Guest passes were an additional cost not initially factored in, and we only got to use the pool once as it was fully booked for the weekend. The little toilet seat had come off and needed replacing. The outside light didn't work and there was a stumble on the steps due to the dark. The coffee machine only worked intermittently. The WiFi was slow so excited children were disappointed to not be able to get the Xbox and PlayStation working. Mattresses were springy. More pillows would have been great.

Caravan was spacious. Modern and very comfortable. Set in a great location. If you have never stayed at Tattershall ? You should definitely try it once!!
