Harcombe Barn near Bristol

Heated floors throught ! Not to mention a heated outdoor pool in the season Fab stay in quiet rural location but 10 min drive from main network travel links. Beautiful decor with an element of luxury with furnishings and bed linen etc. Fully equipped kitchens and 2 tvs plus music system Gorgeous views so scenic Lovely little area above lounge and main bedroom for a small child to sleep and play ..my grandson was in love with his bed and toys he quickly located Plenty of pub restaurants in the area ..5 min drive ..or takeaways .. or cook as oven and hob are excellent

Only one bathroom and loo ..beautiful in every way with fluffy white towels ..you need to walk through main bed room to access bathroom but there is a screen to use to separate the bedroom off slightly

Everything, the converted barn was absolutely beautiful, the deco, the lovely bedding the duvet was light but deliciously cosy.

The property was beautiful, nicely decorated and felt very homely. The beds were comfortable and the bath was perfect to relax in. Everything was clean. The property was easy to find and in a great location for our needs/reason for travel. We didn't meet the host however any messages sent were replied to promptly and politely.

There were a few really simple things that could be improved/supplied.. there were no dish washer tablets, no kitchen roll, no instructions on how to dispose of rubbish or recycling or what to do with used towels/bedding. I travel a lot for work and pleasure, so I am very used to seeing a list of 'house rules or requests' - I always like to leave a property in good order/as it was found, a little note to suggest what to do upon departure (even if it's nothing!) would provide peace of mind. There's a beautiful bath but no bubble bath or salts, an amazing coffee machine but no coffee beans - a few extra touches like this would really set this place apart! A few of the fixture/fittings also seemed to need attention, a block of wood needed reattaching to the wall in the bathroom, the light switches in the kitchen seem to sink/disappear into the wall/socket when pressed, the kitchen drawer sticks. We also couldn't seem to connect to the speakers/sound system in the kitchen or find any instructions on how to do so, we eventually gave up. Overall a really lovely place to stay but lacking a little attention to detail.

Lovely quiet location, beautiful property and fabulous pool to enjoy. The property had plenty of space and was ideal for our family holiday. We will definitely be back.
