Cycle Guest House SHIOKAZE

Self check-in was easy and convenient. Dorms very clean, quiet and private. Great location - right along the Shimanami Kaido and close to large grocery stores, convenience store, restaurants and things to see in Setoda. Ample bicycle parking and bikes are allowed in the room if you need somewhere more secure to store your bike! Kitchenette is well stocked with dishes and a microwave, and there are vending machines with hygiene products and food plus a change machine. Kitchenette, shower, and bathrooms were very clean when I arrived. Fully booked the night I stayed but still very quiet!

Lots of guests so the kitchen and bathroom garbage bins filled up quickly, and I couldn’t find extra garbage bags.

we were excited to use the sauna, but when we got there, there was a sign on the door saying that the sauna must be booked using advance reservations. we never received any information in our booking emails about how to make this advance reservation, so we were disappointed. i’m not sure how we would have done that. the hot water also wasn’t working for the bath, so we had to fill the bath up using the shower head, which worked, but took a long time.
