Villa Penyu Gili Trawangan

Wonderful staff, awesome pool, great rooms and nicely sited for snorkelling on the north side of the island. Had a great stay.

Wir waren während unseres 3wöchigen Urlaubes 4 Tage auf Gili. Wir haben sehr gut abschalten können und haben die Ruhe genossen. Das Hotel hat nur 10 Zimmer und eine direkte Lage am Strand (Turtle Point). Beim Schnorcheln haben wir zahlreiche Fische und Schildkröten gesehen. Das Frühstück und Restaurant sind sehr gut und empfehlenswert. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sind sehr zuvorkommend. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

Ein Duschvorhang wäre wünschenswert.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt abseits vom Trubel des Inselostens. Modernes großes Bad. Großer Pool zum Schwimmen, sofern man keine Erfrischung erwartet. Kann aber niemand was dafür, war einfach sehr heiß im November. Leckeres Essen zu normalen Preisen. Unbedingt probieren Fish Curry, Mie Goreng usw. Personal äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, was wir eigentlich überall erfahren durften während unserer 4 wöchigen Reise.

Leider keine Schirme am Pool. Am Tag nicht auszuhalten, nur bei Bewölkung. Schade........ Lage am Meer mit starker Ebbe, daher nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet. Geht im Osten der Insel besser. Auch Schnorcheln ist dort einfacher. Haben dort auch Turtles gesehen.

Location was perfect very quiet and relaxing, staff were very friendly and the food here was Amazing.

We throughly ejoyed our stay here! We weren't sure what to expect but absolutely loved the location right by the tutles. The pool, restaurant and accomodation were awesome! Ate at the restaurant for all but 1 meal over our 4 day stay. My only negative would be that the family room doesn't have internal connecting doors which caught us off guard so we had to split an adult into each room with our younger aged kids..... certainly was totally fine though and the rooms.beds were great! Serivce and staff amazing!

Wunderschöne Zimmer, sauberes Badezimmer, wunderschöne Anlage. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Super freundliches Personal. Leckeres Essen. Turtles Point direkt vor der Haustüre.

Nichts auszusetzen

Everything was amazing. Beautiful location, perfectly situated in a nice area, with great snorkelling out the front of the hotel. The hotel grounds were very manicured, stunning florals, beautiful design, and pool, and view of the ocean. Great restaurant, excellent value, so tasty, great service, and nice design. Beautiful, extra large rooms (for us, in the family room, but I assume the others are similar). I was a little worried we would be a bit far from everything, but we were actually in the perfect spot between the busy areas, but near them. For the first time in my life I think I genuinely picked the best option available. I wasn't envious of the bigger hotels, as the pool, location and restaurant were better at Penyu. There really wasn't a better option in my opinion, and if I came back i wouldn't bother hunting around for options again. Staff were obviously amazing too. The room was fresh, clean, pretty, tasteful, and relaxing. The little shops around us also held really nice pearls and other jewellery.

Nothing So happy, was everything and more than I wanted, and more, and so reasonably priced, including the restaurant which was very competitively priced for a hotel.
