Millmead Apartment in central Guildford with parking

Relaxed and quiet surroundings. Nice atmosphere in the house. Very good communication and quick answers about our questions. Flexibility in extra requests.

More light in the living room. For us a disc washer would be more appreciated than the washing maschine

Everything was in good condition; Comfortable place;

It had absolutely everything you could possibly want. It was super clean & in the perfect location for us. The owner was so helpful too.

There was everything we needed (toiletries, toaster, tv,…), very clean, good spot (not in the center but only 5‘ away from it), good communication with the staff

Very central, walking distance to the river park, high street and pubs! Parking space is very tight. Had a very large car which made it very tricky! However, not hosts fault as it was mentioned large cars will have a problem and the large car was an unexpected upgrade from rental company

So the positives: The location is super - just 5 minutes away from the centre of Guildford. The flat was clean and tidy

- the beds were so uncomfortable and I spent most nights on the camp bed in the lounge, which was slightly better -the curtains are cheap and seem old - the decor is old, broken parts of the bath - the ceiling in the bathroom has mould - the vaccum smelt revolving when we switched it on to have a quick clean before we left. We couldn’t bear the smell so couldn’t vaccum. - maybe some people find half opened bottles of shampoo etc helpful but I think it ends up looking like a squat! - the pillows on the beds was super hard - if you can, bring your own. - finally the parking. We wanted to park just twice during our stay and were asked to move our car twice and got blocked in. It was manageable but annoying considering the ad seems to say there is a dedicated parking space. This flat coat us around £1,350 for one week, which we found very overpriced as it’s uncomfortable and tatty.

The brushed cotton sheets on the beds meant we were all super hot and struggled to sleep well
