Bed and pillows were better than I expected and actually very comfortable. The property was very clean and generally well kept. The owner was friendly and helpful. The kitchen was generous in size.

Music from the pub below affected me getting to sleep until around midnight. Other guys going in and out to use the bathroom during the night affected my sleep a bit, but not unexpected in a shared room like this. Finding the entrance was quite haphazard and required me to go into a Pub to ask.

Small hostel outside of Edinburgh( Balgreen-tram) Check in by calling the phonenumber and owner comes within a couple of minutes. Kitchen fully equiped ( laundrymaschiene only for staff but on small walking distance a laundry and dryer possibility) Everyday housekeeping ( superfriendly) My son loved the bedding ( comfy and warm, most beds had new matrasses) Pub under the hostel ( could get loud with for example "footballgames" but it did not bother, just join and make more friends), Take a drink or twoo or.... Tram and bus access nearby( 10 min walk ) Only reminder: Entrance to the hostel is on the backside of the pub " The Laich " up the stairs 👍👍👍
