Pumba Private Game Reserve

Tolle Lodge, sehr gut ausgestattet und das Essen war wirklich lecker. Unter anderem auch frisch gebackenes Brot zum Frühstück. Alles inclusive, und man wird gut bedient. Bei den Gamedrives kein Zoogefühl, wirklich alles lebt frei und man muss die Tiere suchen. Wir hatten Glück. Wenn auch nur ein Löwe und 2 Nashörner von weitem.

Das Personal im Service und am Empfang ist freundlich aber und bemüht. Leider fehlt hier und da ein bisschen die Kompetenz, allerdings ohne das es wirklich negativ wird. Der Ranger war freundlich, allerdings der schlechteste den ich hier in Südafrika in Private Game Reserves hatte. Es fehlte an tiefem Hintergrundwissen und es wurde sehr wenig erklärt. Das kennen ich aus Amakajla und Shamwari deutlich besser.

Oltre ogni aspettativa. Tutto meraviglioso, dalla qualità della struttura alla premurosa accoglienza, per non parlare dei safari dove la quantità di animali visti è incredibile. Elefanti, giraffe, rinoceronti, bufali, ippopotami, leoni e leonesse con i cuccioli, zebre, impala, kudu, pumba, babbuini e tanti altri. Molti di questi sono venuti a bere alla pozza d'acqua davanti ai cottages e l'emozione di trovarseli davanti senza andare a cercarli è impagabile. Non vorresti più andare via. Grazie a Nat per averci portato in jeep per tre giorni, 5 ore al giorno, e averci regalato colazioni e aperitivi al tramonto nel bush con gli impala a tre metri da noi; grazie a tutto il personale che garantisce l'ottima qualità del cibo (c'è anche un menù vegetariano) e un servizio impeccabile. Grazie anche a chi ha progettato la struttura in modo ecocompatibile, davvero un 5 stelle a minimo impatto ambientale. Non vi è nulla in plastica, soltanto le bottiglie d'acqua. Complimenti!!

Niente. Attenzione solo alle scimmie quando siete in terrazza perché si divertono a rubarvi le cose (in un attimo sono riuscite a prenderci una sigaretta elettronica e la crema solare!)

Excellent overall, good value. The little extras were great and the food was excellent. Phillip our ranger was great company for the whole time and we saw 4 of the big 5 plus many more.

The staff were exceptional

We liked everything about the property, lovely big rooms with fire lit at night to welcome us after dinner. Hot water bottle placed in the bed. The safaris morning and night were well organised and got to see a variety of animals. Guides very friendly too. All staff were welcoming. Food was of high standard as well
