The worst check-in.. when we arrived in front of the hotel, there were two random guys that approached us, one tried to rent is bicycles, other without introducing himself or nothing just said that we owed him xxx euros for the stay. After some back and forth, since room wasnt ready and we didnt want to pay until we get checked-in, he got annoyed saying he won’t be around later on.. It was all so sketchy and weird, and left a bitter taste and uneasy feeling during stay at Bord Mer. I would expect at least hello and for person to introduce itself during checkin.

CZAmazing location, just 1 minute from ferry, surrounded with shops and restaurants. Apartment was very nice and stylish, with terrace with view to back, not to main street which was comfortable as you had some privacy in the apartment.
Very weak wifi. And have to say, personel from hotel checking us in (but also generally most personal in La Digue) in comparison with people from Mahe island are not that nice, it was fine and mostly neutral but you had a feeling as you are annoying them. However, that applies to most “locals” from La Digue, so don’t take it personally.
AUWe stayed at Bord Mer Apartments and enjoyed it. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Its location near the ferry was very convenient, with shops, restaurants, and bike rentals all within walking distance. Breakfast served across the road was delicious too!
The curtains didn’t close properly and so there were gaps in between- just means that you’ll have a bit of light coming through from night lights and early sunrises
ITThe apartment is veey comfortable and it offeres all the needed amenities! It is very modern and very beautifully decored. Everything is easily reachable from the apartment on a short distance. The included breakfast was very good and we just needed to walk to the building located right jn front of the apartment!
Unfortunately, saturday night around 1 a.m. a group of local people where playing VERY loud music on the street right under our apartment… and we needed to wake up at 6 a.m.🫠 so be prepared, it can get noisy during weekends!
RSThe Studio looks great, stylish, sweet and it is an excellent place to stay. It it very close to the Ferry port so you can walk from there even with the suitcases. There is a Bike Rental just in front of the building and the building is on the main street, with restaurants and shops nearby.
There is no reception so the check-in is basically in the restaurant across the street. Also, no elevator or anyone who would carry the suitcases upstairs but it was not a problem for us.
