Alloggio proprio vicino al porto e a tutti i negozi del centro. Appartamenti molto belli e puliti. In uno era presente anche un terrazzo con vista sulla via principale. Ho visto fare le pulizie al personale e sono veramente maniacali e precisi. Tutto perfetto.

Für uns war die Lage super. Vom Balkon aus konnten wir das muntere Treiben im Ort beobachten. Der Reinigungsdienst ist sehr gründlich und hat jeden Tag nass gewischt.

Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr spartanisch. Wir hätten uns eine Kaffeemaschine und Pfeffer- und Salzstreuer gewünscht.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bord Mer City Apartment. It’s right in the center of La Digue, just a 2-minute walk from the port. Restaurants, supermarkets, ATMs, and souvenir shops are all nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, responding quickly to my questions and requests via WhatsApp. You won’t find the apartment under its name on Google Maps, just type “Fish Trap Restaurant” and it’s located right across from there. That’s also where breakfast is served. The breakfast was delicious: tea or coffee, juice, your choice of eggs, bacon, sausages, toast with butter and ham, pancakes with syrup, and a big plate of fresh fruit. We stayed for three nights and ended up extending for one more. However, the breakfast is the same every day, so it might feel a bit repetitive during a longer stay. We also appreciated the fresh smell of the room every time we entered. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily — thank you to the housekeeper! We didn’t cook, but there were a toaster, kettle, fridge, and stove in the kitchen. I assume basic cooking equipment is available, though we didn’t check the drawers. Beach towels were also provided, which was perfect for beach days. Another great feature is their cooperation with the bicycle rental shop right in front of the apartment. If you rent bikes through them, you get a special discount. We would recommend Bord Mer City Apartment to everyone and would definitely stay there again if we return to La Digue.

One small downside was the curtains, they’re made from separate pieces, so there are gaps that let in a lot of light in the morning, which my husband didn’t like but I am okay with it.

Location is just next to the La Digue ferry jetty, you just walk across with your bags to the property, and pick up your keys from the Fish Trap Restaurant. Everything is walking distance from the place. The location itself is the best feature of this property. Be prepared for a steep flight of stairs to the top floor though.

There could have been advance information provided about the location of the keys. However this was a minor hiccup which was quickly addressed with pleasantness through Whatsapp. In the top floor rooms, you have to be careful with avoiding hitting your head on the angled slope of the roof ceiling, which is very close to the head end of the bed. The mini kitchen is very basic.

I liked the decoration of the apartment.

The location wasn’t the best and there was no real reception nor relaxing area apart from the room
