Simre Inn Hotel Safranbolu

Comfortable beds, clean , good breakfast.

Not very well maintained building, on a rather busy highway.

the breakfast was okay; the room i stayed in had enough space to move around; it was relatively quiet than the initial room i was given; there were grocery stores nearby.

the room i was initially given was looking to a very busy avenue, lots of noise - they kindly moved me to another room once i asked - the tv was not working, they tried to fix it, but no hope; bathroom had smell problem - toilet bowl had a leak i guess.

Everything was perfect and super clean

They could do with an hand rail to the stairs as you go up to the 1st floor

= The hotel is located in the center of Safranbolu. There are many restaurants and various shops around, and perhaps all public transport lines pass by the hotel or very close by. Walking distance from the hotel to the Old Town is about 1 km, but there are also frequent minibuses there (17 Turkish liras). The distance from the bus station to the hotel is a maximum of 1.5 km - which can be reached on foot. There is no other public transport to the Glass Terrace and Tokatli Canyon except to take a taxi (150 Turkish lira one way). = The hotel unfortunately does not have a lift - anyone who has difficulty climbing/descending stairs should keep this in mind. = The bed is comfortable, the bed linen and towels are clean and good. But the pillows stay firm and I felt like they were just stuffed into smaller cases. = Breakfast is a typical Turkish breakfast, but every day there is also French toast or some kind of burek, fried doughy little rolls with cheese (they are delicious). = All of the staff are very kind and responsive.

= The room turned out to be small and without special amenities, it is not clear to me what was "superior" about it. But at least there was air conditioning and a mini fridge. = In 3 days they never took out the trash or changed the towels. = The bathroom is run down and doesn't look well cleaned. Separately, while the hot water flows, the water must be allowed to flow for at least 5 minutes. But when the hot water starts, it is already good, has a strong flow and is hot. = The windows need washing.
