Salt Life Modern Apartment

Emma from Salt Life was very helpful and clear in her communication. A 24hr parking permit was available to purchase for £15. Parking can be tricky but Emma provides a list of streets that are good options. We had a problem and she dealt with it swiftly. The stay is in a solid location - a 25 or so minute walk from the station. A short scenic walk will take you to the heart of Brighton. Good for a single night stay.

There was a noticeable aroma of cigarette smoke throughout the apartment. It was especially prominent in the bedroom and on the bed sheets. The soundproofing is terrible and we could hear other residents conducting their nighttime activities from above and below throughout the night which disrupted our sleep. It is quite a chilly apartment. The heating turned off around midnight and didn't turn on again before we departed.

The location is great and the apartment is comfy, spacious and well fitted

The public spaces could do with some love. The stair carpet could do with replacing and the hall and landing could do with a refresh.

Facilities were good. The living area was nice. Bed was comfortable. Style was modern and clean.

Not a lot of soundproofing. The neighbours were noisy so kept us up. Nothing the host can do about that.

Wow! What a fantastic apartment. Excellent location. Quiet. Clean. I will only stay here when I'm next in Brighton.
