Fantastic stay here. The host was so helpful- had all the info we needed, great communication and everything was prepared fantastically. Will definitely be choosing this property for future trips to Brighton!

This garden flat is very spacious. More so than I had expected from the photos. Unlike many such flats it gets a lot of light. I hadn’t realised from the photos but there is a lovely walk in shower in addition to the stand alone bath. The lounge / diner is a lovely light space. The absolute crown jewel of this place is the garden which gets the sun from early morning till the late afternoon - my stay was in April. In mid summer it’ll have sun till late evening. It’s a total sun trap - a shelter from any strong wind. It’s also very private. The host is fabulously helpful.

Being a flat in a converted large house you do hear people upstairs. I only really noticed this as I have not lived in anything but a detached property for 20 years. After a few hours of settling in it wasn’t something I noticed.

Decent location, not too far from London Road station. The “niche” facilities were in good order and were of high quality. The unexpected pole in the living room was a bonus.

Lots of the regular decor feels pretty tired — cupboards askew on the walls, a broken wardrobe door in the bedroom, a (apparently pointless) shower knob which falls off, and a musty, drains-need-cleaning smell in the bathroom. The booking was for two nights in February and the heating was turned off before arrival. No welcome booklet was obvious — though I could easily have contacted the host — so it took a few minutes to figure out how to turn it on. Due to a mixup, the cleaner arrived on the morning of the full day of the booking, at rather an inopportune moment - it was lucky that I was able to have the booking confirmation to hand.
