The staff was really nice!

It’s not always very clean.

Social atmosphere, easy to meet people. There's a big common area upstairs that you can hang out in. The ladies working there are very nice. Location is okay, it's not in the town center but just a short walk away and there are a few small shops and restaurants nearby. You can book your island-hopping tour through the hostel for the same price as in town plus they give you free breakfast (omelette and toast with butter) the day of the tour if you booked through them. Wifi worked well in the reception and common areas. No mosquitoes inside the dorm. Great price for El Nido.

Bathroom was not cleaned every day and almost always looked dirty. One night there was a small cockroach in the bathroom. There is no wifi or cell signal in the dorm, but if you sit outside in the evening to use the internet you get eaten alive by mosquitoes (it's a tropical island so you can't avoid them). There is air conditioning in the dorm but they don't turn it on unless there are at least 5 people in the room... when I stayed there were only 3-4 of us so we didn't get to use it (although it was mostly ok with just the fans). No outlets/sockets by the beds and no privacy curtains on the beds. No lockers. No free drinking water available (which most hostels in the Philippines do provide). I felt a bit pressured to book a tour through them a few times, and when I initially said I wasn't planning on doing a tour because it was too expensive for me, the guy just glared at me with some hostility and stopped talking to me. The way to the hostel is very dark if you walk back at night, at times you may need to use your phone flashlight to see where you're going. While it seemed like a perfectly safe area overall, it always feels a bit sketchy when you're walking somewhere completely dark on your own at night, especially if you're a woman. One morning we woke up and had no electricity (which meant no fans) or running water, although they fixed it within an hour. For the price you can't really complain, but it wasn't the most comfortable stay overall.

Cheapest hostel

The wifi was not good enough to reach the rooms. The dorms were in really bad condition, you couldn't even close the door. That meant that little bugs(cockroaches), lizards and other insects were free to roam in that room. There is a bathroom in the dorm room, but it has a big problem with humidity. And they advertise that they have AC in the dorms, but they only allow to turn the AC on with a minimum of 5 people in the room...

One Of my very unforgettable place when in El Nido❤️ Staff are very Helpful and Kind,Rooms Are nice and Clean, It's cheaper than other Hostels but very comfortable and relaxing ❤️

Great value for money. The vibe at the hostel is really cool. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and you can book the ABCD boat tours, transport etc. easily at the Front Desk. The room is new and was very clean. The aircon was proper cold!

Loved the staff! Very kind and helpful. The room was the best dorm room I have stayed in on my travels around the Philippines. Clean, funky bed colours and great aircon!

Staffs are amazing! The vibe is at its best. Feels like home.
