Very quiet and in leafy surrounds

Access was a little difficult

I liked that it was easy to check in, the place was cosy, lovely, clean and quite comfortable and there was a parking spot but it was quite steep and the only other issue was that we have to be careful if the windows are open in the bathroom as the neighbours can see you 😂, but we still enjoyed staying at this lovely place.

There was a bit of a bad smell coming from inside both the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink, not too bad but you could smell it.

Fantastic spacious granny flat. Parking space is down a very steep driveway. Google shows walk to beach via street is 15 minutes (big hills) but there is a track from the bottom of the driveway straight to the beach. Full kitchen with full sized fridge/freezer dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven, gas hotplates. All very new and beautifully presented. Bathroom is lovely. Heated towel rail. Very comfortable and peaceful. Washing machine and powder provided.

The listing didn't mention a dryer. I sent a question to the property but got no reply. Glad we booked anyway as there was a tumble dryer as well as drying racks. The bath towels appear very new but were not absorbent.

The place was so clean and tidy. Had everything we need! Quiet neighborhood. Always easy to communicate with the owner. Very satisfied experience of staying here.

Location suited our needs as we were visiting family in howick. Apartment was lovely well set up and bed comfortable. Was sufficiently separate from house for privacy and car park was welcome.

It rained every day so we found walking down the steep driveway a bit slippery
