Kamegawa Onsen HATAGO Yuyu

The check in process was very smooth. You get your own personal bath which was very nice. Room was clean and spacious. I would come here again.

It was a little difficult to find as the entrance was smaller than I thought. So look carefully. Parking was pretty small and tight, so if you're renting a car, make sure it's a small one.

Hôtel fort sympathique avec parking et laverie juste en face. C'est hôtel est parfait si vous voulez vous détendre même si le train passe à côté, ce n'est pas très dérangeant. J'ai passé un séjour très agréable.

the room was adequate. everything was there, and it was clean and comfortable. Enough for one night passing through. there was a great little restaurant nearby called Kuroki. Definitely worth eating there.

either there was a family staying next door, or someone lived attached to the building, but there was a lot of heavy banging and thumping during the evening and kids yelling and crying. Also, the train line is literally next to the building and the whole room shook every time the inbound train arrived. The room was also very dark. I did expect the in-room onsen to be ready to go, not really a diy experience. The bed was also diy. No real need to go back to Beppu for any reason though.
