Myoko Onsen cottage Ajisai

Loved the private Onsen and kitchen, although it took a bit to figure out how to use the stove which was in Japanese. The living area was an added bonus.

The beds were very hard, so we put some spare quilts underneath the sheets to help soften it. There was only one coin operated washing machine in the hotel next door. It was busy every time I went over to do washing. I think they need another one.

Nice onsen Functional kitchen, everything you need (soap, utensils, aluminum wrap etc).

Bedroom a bit small but otherwise fine for one person. If two or more people will start getting tight

Exceptionally well maintained & clean. Great location, close to lifts and main street. Private onsen is perfect after a long day.

Has it’s own Onsen which is rare. Everything in there was spot on. Fabulous accommodation

Location but was easier with the free shuttle to town & paid shuttle if outside those times.

Location is in shin akakura, parking available right in front. Nice to have a onsen tub in house which can be used as we please. The place is small but cosy.

Wasn’t quite sure where to check in and we tried calling the property (which didn’t work) and we finally figured in the end the check is in the onsen ryokan next to it. I didn’t get why they set up a pet cage and pee tray etc when I didn’t request or said I was bringing a pet. Considering there really ain’t a lot of space I would have appreciated not having more things lying around unnecessarily.
