Ginger Delhi, Chanakyapuri

I stayed here solo for a visa appointment at the embassy nearby, which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Given its 4 star rating and affiliation with Taj Hotels, I expected a comfortable and reliable stay. Unfortunately, it did not meet those expectations. What worked well: * Location: The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is in the heart of New Delhi, surrounded by consulates, wide and well maintained roads, and feels safe and accessible. Ideal if you have embassy related work. * Restaurant (Qmin): The in house restaurant Qmin was a highlight. The staff were warm and courteous, and the food was genuinely good, simple and comforting. * Accessibility: Getting to and from the hotel, including airport travel, was smooth and hassle free. Overall: For a hotel that costs around ₹7,000 or more per night and carries the backing of Taj, the experience fell short. While the location and restaurant are definite positives, the lack of basic cleanliness is hard to overlook. The stained linen, in particular, was a major concern and significantly impacted my stay.

1. Cleanliness and hygiene: This was the biggest disappointment. The room did not feel freshly prepared. The linen had visible brown and black stains. When I asked for a change, housekeeping did respond, but while replacing it, I noticed stains on the comforter underneath the cover, which was very unsettling. 2. Quality of linen: Even the replacement linen did not feel clean or well maintained. It seemed either too old or not washed properly. 3. Room upkeep: There were several signs of poor housekeeping, leftover water in the kettle, hair in the bathroom, and stains on the commode. These may be due to hard water, but it still did not feel clean. 4.Noise levels: The room is not soundproof. You can hear people walking in the corridor and doors shutting at night, which made it difficult to sleep well. Overall: For a hotel that costs around ₹7,000 or more per night and carries the backing of Taj, the experience fell short. Only it’s location and it’s clean

1- No room cards were available I get a visiting card to operate room lights 2- kitchen were closed no night menu or any emergency food for kids / customers 3- when i ordered food from zomato i ask for cutlery i get reply its not available i ate biryani from my hands 4- cassette ac just above the bed there is no way i can move acvents from my face 5- room bells was so lound people get panic while sleeping 6- paid breakfast also not available for room service if somebody is sick
