Tranquility at Sandown Bay

Lovely peaceful chalet, well equipped kitchen. Lovely modern furnishings and well thought out design.

Shower was very temperamental. Boiling hot or super cold... there was no inbetween. Chalet itself was very cold. Had to leave heaters on.

Excellent location - the beach below is great for fossil hunting. Nice clean chalet comes with everything you might need for self catering. Sarah is a very friendly and attentive host. We really enjoyed our stay.

the cleanliness and the hosts' genuine caring personality. Very welcoming and was in touch daily to ensure we were having a good experience. The view was spectacular, just what we needed. Cosy but sufficient for a short stay.

A bit cold at night but this is to be expected due to the location. Everything was available and very clean.

The location was perfect for exploring the island. Great access to a beautiful beach and the coastal path. Sandown was also a 25 minute walk away. The property provided everything you needed for a short stay. Good communication with the owner too.

We were a bit disappointed with the outside space. The weather was lovely and although there were 2 chairs and a small table there was no patio as such, the furniture was on what looked like a path around the chalets.

Quiet location with plenty of parking. Very clean chalet. Everything you needed for self catering. Comfortable bed. Lovely walk to local pub via costal path and easy walk to local town and pier. Good communication from host. Thank you Would re book if we return to Isle of Wight.

Tranquility was a lovely chalet, it had everything we needed, was very clean and very comfortable. The hosts have thought thoroughly about what guests would like and how to make it homely.

The location was superb, all that we could have needed was on hand. Great communication from the host. Having the freedom to come and go as we pleased was a big must.

Only thing i could say is for a non driver myself, with a partner that has mobility needs and uses a walker , it would be an advantage to have a car., side note i had done my research and was aware of this. As the location is a fair walk from local amenities. How ever there is bus that will connect you with most places on the island an 8 minute walk away.

The location was excellent and the accommodation was thoughtfully furnished. My daughter and I loved it. I am a clean freak so loved how neat and clean it was. Thank you
