Tranquility at Sandown Bay

What a lovely, cosy, sweet smelling accommodation. My daughters and felt welcomed. The Host (Sarah)took time before our arrival to provide detailed information about the property and facilities as well as local attractions that added to a beautiful stay. She kept on touch and was a text away for any enquiry about the property. The property is named Tranquility@103. That was our experience truly. The holiday park itself was so peaceful. I went on breathtaking walks every day along the coastal paths enjoying nature, serenity, fresh air and joy. I felt so at peace with my inner self. The people about the property were friendly and polite. The area felt so safe. I wanted to stay longer but had to return home. I will definitely return to sooner. Highly recommended too. Der Bungalow ist mit einem 24/7-Check-in über eine Schlüsselbox zugänglich. Er hat einen Blick ins Grüne mit Sitzgelegenheiten für zwei Leute, so dass man den Kindern entspannt beim Spielen auf dem Feld vor der Unterkunft oder beim Schaukeln in der coolen Reifenschaukel zuschauen kann. Es war alles in gutem bis sehr gutem Zustand, sauber und ansprechend. Zum Meer führt ein Weg, der eher für Klettersteigliebhaber wie uns geeignet ist und die Klippe hinab über erdiges Gelände führt und mit wenig Gepäck in 5 Min. am wunderschönen Strand endet oder ein etwas längerer Weg, der über Wiesen an den Klippen vorbei mit traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer in etwa 10 Min. bepackt mit allerlei Strandequipment die Vorfreude auf den Strand steigen lässt. Am Strand sind viele Hunde, was für uns ein lustiges Schauspiel war.

Wir haben einen Wäscheständer vermisst. Für die Elektrik braucht man 1 oder 2 Pfundmünzen, was nicht schlimm ist, aber ein bisschen Aufwand, wenn man im sonst sehr Bargeldlosen England auf Kartenzahlung geeicht ist.

The chalet had everything we needed for the stay, it was clean and nicely decorated, there was a welcome pack which was a lovely surprise. Our hot water wasn't working but communication was excellent and someone came out within the hour to sort it.The location was excellent, the chalet is located on the top of a cliff, with lovely views. There's a coastal path close by which leads directly to the beach, my 77 year old mum could walk it to the beach in less than 5 minutes. There's also a steep track that leads directly to the beach, but it is steep and not suitable for the elderly or very young children. The location is excellent to explore the whole island. I'd highly recommend Alverstone Mead to see the Red Squirrels and Compton bay for fossil hunting. We had a fantastic time and hope to return again.

There's nothing I can think of that I didn't like.

Inside was beautifully clean and decorated to a high standard. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and great outdoor space to for children to play safely away from cars

It was a little bit tricky to find as all look initially look very similar from the outside. What Three Words location for parking and house is ///swells.expecting.reinvest

Beautiful peaceful location a short stroll from sandy, dog friendly beach, lovely view from the clean, well equipped property.

Great chalet, nice decoration, good friendly host.

Hoped would have a sea view Only 1 wine glass!
