Same meal..no varieties As an isolated area,need more water sport activities with some easy access to other parts of the island via boat.

Beach front location

Fantastische locatie met hele mooie, nieuwe en luxe bungalows. Personeel erg vriendelijk en service gericht. De game room voor de kinderen, het zwembad en de leuke tripjes via het Dive Centre maken het helemaal compleet. Restaurant ook goed en het ontbijt erg lekker. Als je op Tioman wil overnachten zou ik dit zeker aanraden!!

Friendly staff and good arrival. Lovely rooms - big and spacious and clean. Good location and easy to get to from the jetty. Nice gym though basic. Activity options. Very nice dive instructor - super good and knowledgeable.

- claims of a 5 star hotel are dubious - Food is quite average. Certainly not 5 star but then it’s not so expensive albeit it is only option for guests - Willingness to accommodate on tours is lacking. Minimum 4 people per tour. Whilst I understand about it being worth it for them and profit margins to protect, there should be a way to accommodate for tours where just 2 people are keen especially if no other tours are running hence the boat is available. They should especially accommodate guests spending a lot of money with them - for example, can you offer a free tour or a tour with 300 ringgit each, for guests who book 5 nights? If they can’t generate the interest for their tours then they either need to offer better more appealing tours or find a way to make it work for couples. Otherwise there is not a lot to do and whilst yes the point is to relax and escape, you still need options especially when certain other aspects around the food and coffee for example are lacking. They MUST implement more flexibility. An example here is that for diving its 3 dives or nothing. They should have options for 2 dives or single dives. It’s not far to the dive sites, it wouldn’t be difficult to accommodate and would show that added service level needed. Another example is my parents having wanted to do a tour to a waterfall and with lunch in a town. There wasn’t other interest and there seemed to be a complete lack of drive or willingness for staff to try and find a workaround at least not until I messaged. Then they offered a stripped back version excluding lunch but for the same price . Not good enough. When you visit a 5 star resort or hotel you want to feel like your requests are being listened to and feel the staff are trying to accommodate your needs especially when they are perfectly reasonable. A lot of push back was annoying.
