Stunning view in a great location with excellent staff

-Lovely setting, spacious room and balcony. -Quiet, peaceful, clean crisp fresh air and surrounded by greenery. -Beautiful view of the river and mountains. -Hotel has a small pier that provide free boat (5-10mins) to/from town (roadblock due to landslide). -The staffs are hardworking, friendly and helpful. -Restaurant food/breakfast is mediocre.

-It was rainy season the hotel did not inform us in advance there was a landslide (happened 3 days before our arrival) that caused a blockage on the road leading to the hotel. Worst was that our car got stuck in muddy rough potholes. We searched high and low for help under the pouring rain and finally after quite some time (1hour+) the hotel staffs came and helped carry our luggage by foot. -Requested for an extra bed during booking (2 months prior) and to find out upon check-in that they ran out of bed frame and provided the last available old old old dirty stained mattress. There were a few (2 to 3) very tiny black bugs and cobwebs on the mattress - at least wipe or dust it before sending it to our room and had the curtesy to charge full price on the extra bed. -Cracked tiles on toilet floor. -Doors are not properly sealed.

The location is exceptional with the lying Lady across the river. The room and balcony are spacious with subtle colours. The staff are helpful and I like that they are from various villages around and are given the chance to learn and train on the job. The managers go out of their way to assist with whatever you need. And they provided a variety of dishes for vegan and vegetarian breakfast.

There could be a bit more attention to detail, as far as cleaning. A towel rack for or near the wash basin would be nice and more light over the sink. And lastly, a large mirror in the main area to make sure you look as good as you feel 😄

The location is not and bit far from the center of the village. but the team over there provide shutel services when you want. One important and small thing, please keep the lights above the door over all the night. its very dangerous to walk between the rooms at dark
