Schönes Resort mit toller Aussicht auf den Fluss und die Berge. Schöne große Zimmer und sauber war es auch.

Der Pool war trüb, anscheinend fiel eine Pumpe aus die gerade erst repariert wurde. Das Personal war weitgehend freundlich, allerdings ist da aus meiner Sicht noch Luft nach oben.

- Toplocatie. - Veel kwaliteit voor relatief weinig geld. - Gratis kayak. - Gratis minibar. - Grote kamers met prachtig uitzicht. - Ideaal vertrekpunt voor wanderlingen.

- 1 dag voor aankomst werden we verwittigd door het hotel dat het zwembad niet functioneel was door een onverwacht lek. Bij aankomst bleek dat dit niet zomaar onverwacht was. Er waren langdurige werken aan de gang, waardoor we tijdens onze 3 dagen verblijf niet hebben kunnen zwemmen. Als compensatie hebben we wel een diner gekregen. - Niet alle personeel was even vriendelijk. - Slechte bedden. - Niet geschikt voor mensen met fysieke problemen of beperkingen.

Staff was wonderful, except the manager. The setting, while some distance from town is beautiful, and they have a truck to take you into town whenever you want so the distance is not a problem for me. I also walked back at the end of every day Excellent coffee for breakfast

This is the second time I have stayed here. The first time I made 3 different booking for 4 days total. Later I noticed I was charged twice for 1 day. I contacted the hotel and the manager said he had to check with accounting. I never heard back so contacted him again and showed him the double charge. Never heard back so again contacted him. He finally said I was double charged but didn't want to return the money to my account. Anyway after a couple of days there he did give me my money. This time I booked for 8 days, but got called back to work in Bangkok. I contacted the manager by Whatsapp and told him. I thought he could list it again and maybe he could give me credit for a stay in the future. He ignored my message. I told one of the staff, and he called the manager and was told the manager would call me. Two months later still waiting. Just check your credit card statement after you book here. The hotel is nice, the manager not so much in my opinion.

Beautiful location, a few minutes by boat/car from the city center so very quiet, with a view over the river. The breakfast was simple but good. There is a free boat shuttle from the property to the city center. The hotel organized our private transfers from LP, which worked very well. Generally the staff were helpful (on our last day we had an early breakfast before a hike and were able to take a shower late before leaving) - this was very well appreciated.

From the pictures on Booking.com and the price (expensive for this area), you may be thinking this is a luxury resort, and it is not. The rooms are furnished very simply, the mattress and pillows are super hard. In December, the rooms get cold. The common areas (e.g., by the little pier) are quite untidy. The pool area is under renovation (we were only notified a day in advance when our reservation was not cancellable anymore). While the boat shuttle is free, there was often some extra time to be waited before being picked up. Overall, we were left with the feeling that this accommodation had a lot of unrealized potential, but I am not sure I would stay here again, I would probably try to find something in town so it is more convenient to start hikes.

Amazing place with an incredible mountain and river view. You feel like you're in a luxury resort in the middle of the jungle. The hotel is a bit far from the town, but they offer a shuttle whenever you need it.
