"Beautiful location"

The aesthetic and quirky design, little touches make a big difference like the fudge and biscuits. The view from top room spectacular I was in Telford on business attending Peakefest at Apley Farm estate.

Great location with lots of pubs in a short walk and close to many of the museums in the area. Small enclosed garden for letting dogs out for a pee.

The bed matress was far too soft for my liking. It would have been useful to have bleach in the toilets to clean them I know this is a dog friendly guest house but this sofa cushions should be washed more regularly to remove dog smells which were very strong.

"Good location, spacious for a family, but cleanliness & pet odour needs some urgent attention."

6.0

The location was good and in a quiet area, but with easy access to local sights, pubs & restaurants. The kitchen had plenty of dishes & utensils.

As soon as we entered the property there was an overpowering smell of dogs from previous visitors with a lot of dog hairs & stains on the sofa. Because we were only staying for the weekend we immediately went to Tesco to get some febreeze & air freshener and did a thorough hoover of the sofa to make it acceptable, not what we expected when you have to pay extra for a deep clean for taking pets. This could be easily overcome by a thorough clean after each guest and use of throws over the sofa & cushions when pets are staying. Fortunately we spent most of our time outdoors visiting local sights.

"An excellent holiday base but with some issues that need to be resolved."

6.0

Very well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space downstairs for preparing, eating and relaxing. Wonderful location - very quiet yet easily accessible. Good parking. Lovely walks from the house into Ironbridge and beyond. Surrounded by wonderful riverside pubs. Facility for relaxing outside in private garden and balcony.

The downstairs living/dining/kitchen is linked directly via a sort of mezzanine floor to one of the first floor bedrooms (the one with twin beds) any talking or noise downstairs was very audible in this bedroom. THe house is accessed via two wooden staircases that creak really badly so creeping upstairs at night is impossible. THe floors also creek badly; particularly the top floor which can disturb people sleeping on the middle floor. In May, the top floor bedroom got very hot and having the windows open at night invited a hornet into the room.

Was very nice place very spacious and equipped with all the nessessaties.

Considering in the price of booking was a £49 cleaning service charge we were expecting the place to be spotless and to our disappointment it wasn't.
