As described. Clean comfortable cabin. Family running the place helped with all our needs. Good access to cafes on the main road and tours in the area :)

Absolut grossartiger ausblick auf die berge und das tal inklusive sunrise. Freundliches hilfsbereites personal beim tragen des gepäcks die sehr steilen stufen hinab zum zimmer.

Sehr steile stufen hinunter zum zimmer, auch rutschig die treppen. Im dunkeln mit der handytaschenlampe halbwegs zurecht gefunden. Keine reception, kein aufenthaltsraum, weshalb das frühstück zum zimmer gebracht wird. Keine vesondere ausstattung. Kommunikation über whats app. Vorzeitige abreise nach 1 übernachtung, gezahlt wurden 2 übernachtungen. Wirklich überteuert.

The view did things to my nervous system. There were moments where I'd be scrolling my phone in bed, look out my window, and just... put the phone down. And look. And stare for hours. I felt the gravity of having a cabin right on the edge of a giant crater left behind by a collapsed volcano, and I could not believe that I was getting such an experience for the price I paid. The staff were also incredibly prompt, responsive, and accommodating. They cooked my instant bihun for free and brought it to my room when I asked. And they cleaned my room thoroughly and impeccably. I felt incredibly cared for.

The Kintamani area in general has lots of flies in the rainy season, even in some of the better-known cafes. So it wasn't the accommodation's fault at all, but rather a quirk of the area that there were lots of bugs in my room. On my second night, I learned that I should sleep with the windows closed as bugs like to seek refuge in my room during the night. This made the bug situation a lot more manageable!

Feels like a mountain hut. Spectacular view in good weather (we were unlucky though). Atmospheric temples nearby.

Not recommended for people with mobility issues as there are many stairs.

I recently stayed at this facility and was extremely disappointed with the location. The path leading to the accommodation is very steep, making it nearly impossible to carry large bags without worrying about falling. It was incredibly stressful just trying to reach my room. I would not recommend this place if you have any mobility issues or heavy luggage.
