Tegal Sari Cabin Kintamani

Het uitzicht is geweldig mooi. Ondanks mist en regen veranderde het zicht op de 3 vulkanen steeds. Bovendien ligt het naast een groot tempelcomplex en vlakbij restaurants en leuk café..

Helaas vertonen de kamers vochtplekken en was er een (tijdelijke) lekkage. Ook moet je goed ter been zijn want je moet een aantal trappen en schuine paadjes af om bij de huisjes te komen. Er is geen receptie dus je moet doorgeven hoe laat je arriveert.

The location was perfect for the view - absolutely stunning view! The feeling of solitude/privacy was an ideal effect as well, almost feeling like I had the entire property to myself. Given the proximity of the cabins from the actual entry of the property, the sounds of motorbikes are distant, which I appreciated. The space itself was very comfortable and cozy. Since it was a rainy day, it was particularly cooler, which helped keep the room at an optimal temperature - I loved being able to keep the doors open and the sheers closed. I instantly fell in love with this cabin. The Warung that is advertised in the room is just a five minute walk from the cabins (maybe once you get to street level). The staff is incredible! Since I was only there the one night, the greeting and the departure was the most interaction I had, but they really helped me feel like I was the only there. All in all, it was the perfect getaway.

The walk down to the actual cabin is a hike, so be mindful if you are wearing sandals or no-grip shoes, especially when it's wet out. In the morning there were an appalling number of flies that made eating breakfast outside a bit lackluster - nothing to do with the room itself, just worth noting.

Прекрасный вид(при хорошей погоде), очень внимательный и заботливый персонал, неподалёку большой храм, магазины, варунги с красивыми видами и вкусной едой.

В плохую погоду вечером, хорошо бы иметь ТВ.

This is my second stay at Tegal Sari Cabin. The room is as shown in the pictures, with a stunning view of Mt. Batur, Mt. Agung and the lake, so much so that one can spend the entire day in here. The host family is warm, hospitable and very helpful and accessible. They serve a welcome drink and a wholesome and a delicious breakfast. The room is clean and spotless and very comfortable and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay here and look forward to returning. One thing to be mindful of is the somewhat steep path/steps that one has to walk downhill to the room. Other than that, it is a beautiful place to stay with hot water, wifi and provision for organising a trek and jeep tour to Mt. Batur, which I took and enjoyed. Restaurants and shops are accessible via Grab bikes and cars.
