Rochester Marriott Mayo Clinic Area

Our first room that was assigned to me and my family smelled strong odor of marijuana although I booked a non-smoking room this was so unpleasant being my family and toddler back and forth just to be assigned to another room with out the acknowledgment of the staff as this to being a normal circumstance given.

My son and I were very happy with the property. The staff very friendly from housekeeping, front desk and needless to say, DAVID the server in the breakfast area was exceptional, that’s what a excellent customer service is! Thank you David.

Booked Concierge and was closed. No one informed me that it was closed. Staff were not well informed

Location is great if you're going to the Mayo Clinic. Our room was relatively clean and neat.

I had an 7:30 am medical appointment and the desk told me the restaurant opened at 6:30 am, so we went down a few minutes after 6:30 to find an empty, darkened room. It took a brief time for someone to turn the lights on and greet us. Then took about 15-20 min to get our food order (no buffet). My fruit plate had unripened sliced fruit and some berries and my partner had the oddest concoction they called eggs on corned beef. A very bad experience. I have stayed at less expensive hotels in Rochester that had far, far better breakfast service.

It was close to the Mayo Clinic and had a subway area to walk over.

The property was nice! However I asked for and accommodated room and the bathroom was tiny and not really big enough for my husband who uses a walker. He had to half fold his walker to even get into it! Not to mention the commode was super short for people with disabilities! Some of the staff was friendly other were very rude and condescending! Felt like we didn’t fit into the idea of people that stay there and they just treated us like we didn’t belong!
