I was left stranded unable to access property

Money was taken from .my account and £15 waiver . I updated arrival time then wasn't given the keylock code left for a while then I arrived still didn't have the code. Wasn't able to get in contact with anyone on Ai from booking which was absence horrific and needs updating. This caused much and I hate in a car before a wedding had to get changed and showered. It completely ruined everything. I have been some money back but not £15 waiver and to be honest im thinking about sueing for negligence and failure to comply with T&C's. Haven't been offered a sorry or some sort of compensation Absolutely disgusting im still owed money booking.com have also not been very helpful again disappointed and disgusting customer servide

The property was clean and location was good

Wifi was slow there is mold smell coming from the room that have the cleaning equipment eg mop bucket and vacuum bath is too high

It was clean

The £150 charge that takes 7-10 days to be refunded. Quick to take the money but not quick to return it. I've had other properties return it the day of checking out after inspection. So when I'm told it will take 7-10 days, I find it frustrating. Also no cleaning products i.e washing up liquid, wasn't about to buy a product that I would end up leaving for the next guest.

"Awful. Brightworks property took £150 deposit off us. They said they would use this for locksmith."

The appartment maintenance was appalling. Bed sheets were not clean, towels were not clean. There was a fridge in the living space, which was not properly defrosted. Bed mattresses had springs sticking out. The living room sofa was very uncomfortable. There was only 1 set of keys. We used the lock box on the 3rd day, as there 4 of us. 2 of us were visiting different parts of London, so decided to use lockbox so the other 2 could do their own thing. When we returned to the property the lock box was open and keys had been taken. We rang Brightwork properties who we got prpoerty through. We were told firstly why were we using lockbox as there was only one key. I asked could we get the spare key. We were told they couldnt do this. Brightworks property then rang a locksmith. They said this would take time. In the meantime while we waited nearly 2 hours outside in cold conditions, Brightworks texted us to ask if we could ring the other flats in the property to ask if someone had taken the key as sometimes if the lockbox opened they had taken key for safe keeping. This told us this had happened before. The lockbox was locked when we put key in lockbox. We asked when was the last time Brightworks changed the code. They couldnt answer this. Two hours after we rang Brighworks a locksmith came to the property and with a sheet of film wedged to the side of key lock opened the door. He asked did we want lock changed as this was extra and said we would be paying £179 for call out, opening door and labour. The only labour he did was to use film on door to open it. We said we would not paying as lockbox should not have been broken in. The locksmith stood in hallway of department demanding this money. We said he needed to speak to Brightworks property. He did this outside the property. When the other 2 in our group returned. The key had managed to get back in the lockbox. The only person who was standing beside the lockbox was the locksmith. We knew then we have been scammed.

Nothing. Maybe that the bath smells of chlorine. So it is broken, but maybe clean.

They have the audacity to ask for a security deposit with a system that is external to booking. I don’t know whether I’ll get my security deposit back at all, even if they say I might. It is an insult to see how broken everything is. Run down and the beds are as bad as everyone says. Don’t waste your money here. It is Wild they want to charge extra for Wifi.
