Stanley Court Apartments by Staycay

Nice warm accommodation. Bed comfy. Good shower. Good location. Noise was ok - others said it was very noisy but we didn’t think so. Didn’t think that the street was rough either. Facilitated a late check out for an extra 35pounds.

£150 deposit is crazy. I haven’t received that back yet and I followed all check out instructions - removed rubbish / cleaned all ware / stripped beds. We requested an early check in but the communication was poor - we requested this earlier in the week, we were told to contact them the night before which we did. Still no reply. Bare in mind I was requesting 12-1 o’clock and no reply until after 2 so we didn’t avail of the early check in. You are supposed to leave the key in lock box. I didn’t see that anywhere and I was contacted after departure. I left it inside. Getting the key was an issue and many others had the same issue but we helped them once we figured it out. Really, there should be someone there to help you in person or when giving instructions give pictures / videos with directions. It was misleading. If the communication could be sorted out I would have given it a 10/10.

There were people smoking cannabis outside the window and all the smoke coming through my window and disturbing my sleep as I was working night shifts

Proximity to the town

The sink in the bathroom was blocked. Central heating did not work and there was an electric heater that was hard to regulate in temperature. There were two smoke detectors that were both covered with plastic and socks. Also the tv has an amazon firestick that did not work, despite contacting the number provided, the lady in the other end of the phone did not grasp what were talking about, asked us only to change the batteries which was not then problem! Pretty disappointed with the quality of the pillows and duvet, thin and very cheap.

Nice clean apartment right in the middle of Liverpool, close to shops' night life and other amenities.
