Bad odor in kitchen. Poor communication. We reserved 2 twin beds but on arrival it was a double. When we called we were politely told there was nothing they could do. After we strongly insisted, they confirmed our reservation for twin beds & sent someone over to fix it. It was very frustrating.
AUThe location is very good with an easy walk to the town centre and right round the corner from the Hippodrome if you want to book a show, which we did. The kitchen was well equipped and suitable.
I raised several matters with the property management that I felt were not up to standard and was assured that my concerns would be addressed. The most notable being a very poor mattress which had collapsed on one side and should have been replaced long ago. This in my opinion could not have gone unnoticed when changing the bed linen, and so was very disappointing to discover. A security bond is required for this property before arrival and that being the case, I feel that any existing faults or damage should be officially noted and a copy supplied to the incoming tenants. Otherwise the tenant should expect the property to be in top shape all round upon arrival. I think this is a reasonable expectation when the tenant can be held responsible under the security deposit guidelines.

GBThe property was extremely clean and well equipped - had extremely good cooking facilities, a good lounge and dining area, a large bathroom with a very good shower, and a good sized bedroom. The checking in process was secure and straight forward, and the property was in a good central location.
It was not made clear on Booking.com that a £100 deposit was required which is not ideal, although this was refunded quickly after my stay. The bed was not very good - it consisted of two single mattresses pushed together, but one mattress was significantly more worn down that the other, which left a very noticeable height difference; this only made it comfortable to sleep on one of the two mattresses, so does not feel like a double bed. If it wasn't for the bed situation, I'd give this property 10/10.
