Beatiful Alfama, charming apartment

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful area. It was way bigger than expected. Would definitely recommend!

Spacious, comfortable and well-appointed apartment in a super location in the heart of the Alfama district. Several restaurants, small shops and a couple of mini grocery stores within a few minutes walk of the apartment - as well as the iconic old tram routes. The immediate area was full of life, especially in the evenings with music playing and locals encouraging people to eat in their restaurants. The apartment's shutters made a very good job of blocking out the music if an early night was needed but everywhere was quiet from 11pm. Lots of useful information on attractions, restaurants, metro stations etc. provided by our host, Joao, who was also available to contact (via Booking.com) after our flight was considerably delayed.

Just a note for Joao in that a small coffee table would be great by the sofa and perhaps a few more hangers!

Very interesting position of appartment, close to important points of old town. And my personal satisfaction because tram 28 pass just beside home, as in my town trolleybus pass beside my home 😊. Of course, Beatiful Alfama has all Gou need during Your stay there.

Sometimes You can sense some smell of humidity, because the building is old. But it's normal.
