Great location in the old town of Split.

The bathroom and towels weren’t quite as clean as expected.

"This was an ideal spot for my overnight needs and easy access to pier."

7.0

The room was clean and had everything needed. The host went out of their way to help me find the location. Ideal location for restaurants, shops, site seeing, transportation and pier. If you are okay with basic accommodations then this spot is ideal.

Very basic accommodation. GPS couldn't locate so use the restaurant across the pathway which at the time was Adriatic Sushi as you will be on foot to locate.

Location was so magnificent. Easy access WITH NO STAIRS!!!! Nina, who looks after the place was amazing and helpful. Her communication and service was second to none. Great value for money. Close to parking and taxis.

"Definitely not as promised."

3.0

Location was central (despite not being where it said it was), the fridge was useful, the air conditioner worked and the lady that walked us to our apartment was nice.

I've not written a bad review before here, but felt compelled to after all these things added up. Location wasn't where it said it was, accommodation didn't match ANY of the photographs, and they tried to charge me again, despite the fact I'd already paid up front. Shower was broken if you used the main shower head, it sprayed water on the ceiling and on to the light fitting above it - you could see by the water damage on the ceiling above it had been like that for a long time! Really dangerous! Plug socket in bathroom hanging out of the wall, no amenities (i.e. kettle, plates), coffee stains on the wall, no safe, was told WiFi code would be texted to us but never was, bed sheet had a hole in it and beds weren't comfortable - honestly I could go on... This was the most expensive place we stayed in our almost 2 weeks in Croatia and was by far the worst. The owner was really rude when I phoned him to ask if we were in the right place as we couldn't find the entrance, so didn't feel safe to complain while we were there. Reading other reviews it seems like some people get what they are promised, but others do not. Would not recommend taking the risk! Other cheaper places we stayed were nicer and as advertised.

"A Dream Getaway... If Your Dream Is to Be Thoroughly Disappointed!"

5.0

- Location, location, location - in the heart of the Palace - Water pressure in the shower - decor of the room - comfy bed - we got an upgrade due to our booked room not being ready when we arrived

Well, where do I begin with our glorious one-night stay at this fine establishment? Let's start with the promises, shall we? "Free parking near the hotel"—what they meant was, "Good luck finding a parking spot and be prepared to pay €1.50 an hour if you're lucky!" After searching for ages, we finally found a free spot far away in a random residential area, where I’m pretty sure we weren’t supposed to park. Already feeling special, right? Now, let’s talk check-in. Don’t expect a welcoming reception—there isn’t one. Instead, you’ll get two delightful phone calls with strangers, one of whom tells you to “just hang out for 20 minutes and grab a coffee,” after you’ve already wandered around aimlessly. Then, a lady finally shows up to let us in, only to ask me to pull up my e-banking to prove that the stay was paid for. I mean, why should they know who's paid, right? That’s clearly the guest’s responsibility. Now, the room! Let’s start with the good: visually, it’s a real stunner. Beautiful stone walls, great decor, and the location is pretty perfect—right in the heart of Split. But as they say, looks aren’t everything. The room might look top-notch, but it smelled like mold central. Thanks to a tiny window that barely opens into a courtyard, there’s zero ventilation. And sure, you could open the main door to the room, but then you’d be on display for every tourist walking by. Cozy, right? Oh, and WiFi? Don’t get your hopes up. For a hotel stay priced at over $200, you’d think basic internet access would work. But no, we spent the night internet-free, which is so convenient when you’re a tourist trying to look up local attractions or, you know, communicate with the outside world. Now, back to the room's "luxuries." The bed? Comfy, I’ll give them that. But one blanket for two people? Are we supposed to share like it’s a sleepover in a college dorm? There were extra blankets in the closet, but without any covers.

The location was excellent. Right in heart of the old town. Easy to walk everywhere.

The parking was quite a bit further than we thought - it says “free parking nearby” but actually it was difficult to find the free parking as it’s so busy - we ended up paying 30 Euros over the two days we were there.
