Contractors and Groups with Parking

It had everything we needed for our stay.

Everything was great.

The beds were really comfy and the huge television in the living room was a nice surprise. The host was also very helpful and responded very quickly

The location was good as we were going to Anfield to see Bruce Springstein. We were able to walk back in 25 minutes. Uber taxis were prompt at the property within 2 minutes of booking one. The property was very clean and tidy. In fairness, it fulfilled our needs for a 2 night stay as near as we could to go to an event at Anfield. Comfy beds and sufficient kitchen equipment for our needs, however for reasons below we wouldn´t stay here again.

Access to the property was stressful. The check in morning, I received a message asking us to check in online. This involved taking a photo of all members and uploading them with names to a web link. We were not leaving from the same place so had to stop and do this en- route. We also had to load a credit card for the deposit to secure access in case there was any damage (£150 held against the card pending until a few days after the stay finished and then removed providing all was ok). We arrived early but couldn´t access the house, which was ready, because the computer check in system only released the keycode at 4pm and only after the check in uploads /credit card had ben carried out which was done in the morning. We sat in the car and messaged the owners to get the keycode and were told that access was at 4pm and we had time to familiarise ourselves with the locality! We actually didn´t get the key code until we phoned the owner at 16:15pm when we still hadn´t received it electronically. All of this was quite stressful and not something encountered before. The property sleeps 6 people. there were 4 in our party but only 1 sofa with room for 3 people despite there being room for a second sofa or 2 tub chairs by the window, so one of our party had to sit on the floor / dining chair. The stairs were extremely steep so not suitable for anybody with any accessibility issues as bathroom/toilet was downstairs. The name of the accommodation is ´Contractors and Groups with Parking´ suggesting there was private parking. It was on- street parking & a street sign saying resident parking only. I asked for a parking permit, told to park in front of the house and not to worry. Easier said than done. I offered my car registration number but it was clear there was no plan to do anything with it e.g upload number to an electronic parking permit system so worry about getting a ticket during the stay & another car already parked in front of the property.
