Lincoln Shepherds Hut Views Firepit

Three was little to commend it.

The bathroom was flooded and dirty and a long walk from yurt. The shower was very small with stiff doors. The floor was mucky and 2 inches of water . The yurt was over hot and uncomfortable. The electrics were dangerous and the lift kept zizzing and flickering and I was worried I’d get an electric shock

Location was good, lovely view - has lots of potential.

Mouldy curtains next to beds, non working co2 detector, one toilet and one shower (in same room) for 13 guests onsite. Unsafe area for children. People taking drugs around toilet block. I spoke to all guests on site and among them they also had NO co2 detector, non working Heater (given another which didn’t work), water leaking onto back of electrical equipment , non locking door, equipment which didn’t work. Electrical items not PAT. The owner was helpful and tried to help people but when I noticed all the mould I didn’t even get an apology! So many H&S concerns.

Nice view sunset with fire pit , kids are excited. Spacious room , we enjoy our stay .

Found many small insects on the floor .

Lovely views, peace and quiet. Good facilities for children.

The beds were so uncomfortable, they seemed to have a think wooden bar across the middle causing and uncomfortable nights sleep and bad back in the morning. So much so we left the next day as we couldn't face another uncomfortable night on the beds. Tv had no sound om netflix so watched YouTube all night instead No fridge or stove top which was in the description Couldn't shut the door properly as the velcro was on the outside so had gabs all night Very small light which was pretty useless in lighting the Yurk at night.
