Apartment HOTEL MODISH Nijo Enmachi

Value for money!! Location is good!!

Bit small (which is understanable) and toilet and wash basin didnt have a door!!!

During our stay, we found the room to be impressively spacious compared to a standard hotel room. The support staff was exceptionally friendly and responsive, ensuring that our needs were promptly addressed. Additionally, we were fortunate to secure a great deal during the holiday season, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Instructions for arriving at the property were clear and concise. Room was cozy and very suitable for 2 persons. The property owner / manager was a kind and good person to deal with. Thank you.

In our opinion the room size was cramped for more than 2 persons and the additional bed did not quite meet our foreign expectations.

The property was spacious and has the things needed for a comfortable stay: comfortable bed and sofa, table, smart TV with internet, washing machine, microwave oven, smart toilet, and a bathroom with dryer function.

Although the room is a bit of a walk from the nearest train station, it is very near to a bus stop that would cater to the Golden Temple, Gion St, and other important places like the Nijo-jo.

The location is in the heart of emmachi, it's near all the public transports that take you to the main attractions of Kyoto. From busses to train station to tram lines, even on walking distance me and my brother reached kinkakuji and a few other wonderful temples it was lovely. The facilities are nice too, everything is self service, modern, and compact. The room is pretty spacious for a japanese semi apartment, and has everything you need for day to day life. There's a full set kitchen, pans and cookware provided, microwave, refrigerator, even washing machine, clothes hanger, electric thermos and hair dryer. Towels are also provided. Some more amenities are provided in the ground floor. My mom is very picky about rooms and she love Modish! Would like to stay here again if I have the chance to come back to Kyoto.

For some reason I can't contact the staff via booking.com chat so it gets kind of difficult to communicate at first, but the emails they sent and the instruction manual given in the room is very helpful, so no problem!

Ample of space for even 4 people, although there are only 3 of us. Room is very comfortable during winter, we can make some simple cooking and wash some clothes. Sound proof is excellent as can't hear any noise in the room. Every things is fully equipped, but some suggestion : to provide some bowl for eating noodle with soup, provide some USB charges as this is very important nowadays, the rest are all fine. I will book the same place if I come back to Kyoto again.

Beautiful location, nice and quiet neighbourhood. Didn’t see a host or meet anyone for check-in/check out but it was all explained on the sheet in the room.
